The North Quabbin Garlic and Arts Festival is located in Orange, Massachusetts, about 70 miles west of Boston
Offsite Parking and Free Shuttle
The main festival parking lot is located at the intersection of Holtshire Rd and Fairman Rd, just 1.5 miles from the Festival. Parking is free, and free shuttle buses make the round trip to the festival about every 10 minutes. The last shuttle leaves the Festival at 4:45 PM so plan your departure accordingly.

From Route 2 Eastbound: Take Exit 71 (formerly 16), at the end of the ramp turn left onto Route 202 South, drive 2 miles (there will be signs!) to Elm St. Turn right, then follow signs 1.8 miles to the shuttle lot at the intersection of Holtshire and Fairman Rd. (Elm St will change name to Holtshire Rd at the Orange town line)
From Route 2 Westbound: Take Exit 71 (formerly 16), at the end of the ramp turn right onto Rt 202 South, drive 2 miles (there will be signs!) and turn right on to Elm St , then follow signs 1.8miles to shuttle lot. (Elm ST will change name to Holtshire Rd at the Orange town line)
From Route 202 Northbound: Follow 202 to Elm St, Turn Left and follow signs 1.8 miles to shuttle lot at intersection of Holtshire and Fairman Rds. (Elm St will change name to Holtshire Rd at the Orange town line)
From Route 202 Southbound: Follow 202 to Elm St, Turn Right, and follow signs 1.8 miles to shuttle lot at intersection of Holtshire and Fairman Rds. (Elm St will change name to Holtshire Rd at the Orange town line)
Onsite Parking
On-site parking at the festival is reserved for:
- Carpools of three (3) or more persons
- Cars with DMV Handicap Parking Permits
- Persons requiring accessibility assistance
- Families with young children
- Vendors and volunteers (must park in vendor and volunteer designated lots)
From Route 2: Take exit 71 (formerly 16) and follow directions to shuttle lot as above. Continue past shuttle lot and follow signs to Handicapped and Carpools parking at Festival site.
From Amherst: Take Route 202 north to New Salem (pass the blinking traffic light and the general store). Continue on Route 202 for 2.7 miles. Take a left onto Elm Street. Continue past the shuttle parking lot and follow signs to Handicapped and Carpools Parking at Festival site.
