Organize a volunteer parking team and receive a $250 donation to your favorite non-profit organization!

Volunteers work in teams to help direct parking, either at the large off-site lot or at one of the parking lots near the festival field.  A team coordinator organizes a team of parking volunteers and acts as the contact person for festival organizers before and during the event.

For each group of eight adults volunteering for a full day at the festival (roughly 9:30 AM – 4 PM) the Garlic and Arts Festival will donate $250 to your group.  We are flexible and are happy to pro-rate for larger or smaller groups volunteering for one or both days.

Parking team coordinators must be prepared to provide the festival organizers with a list of names and contact information for their volunteers at least a week before the festival.  They should also meet with the field/parking organizer before the festival in order to be prepared to assign their team members to specific tasks at the parking lot.

Parking team volunteers receive free weekend admission to the festival and a treat from the bread oven (no T-shirt).  They should be prepared for the weather, whatever it is, and have water, a hat, sunscreen, footwear appropriate to walking a field, lip balm, and bug spray at a minimum.  Ideally parking volunteers should have some driving experience. On their volunteer day those assigned to a parking lot near the festival field must sign in at the Volunteer tent before they start their shift.
